Teaching my beginner gymnasts yesterday I realised "You don't have to be perfect, you just have to get going"
Some kids were scared because they feared they wouldn't be able to do the moves. So we told them to "just try" and we validated them and loved them and praised them.
And you know what?
They learned the moves. Why? Because they were in a safe and loving environment that allowed their unconscious minds to work together with their conscious minds.
