My name is Tania Williams and I come from Cape Town, South Africa. That’s right at the tip of Africa- where the Indian Ocean and the Atlantic Ocean meet.

From my deck I can literally see the point where the two oceans meet.

I believe in family, the simple pleasures in life- like enjoying a stress free afternoon with my son and puppy on the beach. I believe everyone has a right to live their lives without worrying where their next paycheck is coming from of how to pay their children’s school fees or mortgage.

Everyone deserves to work in an environment that celebrates their unique talents.

Doing their “life’s opus”- what they were meant to do in this universe to contribute to their fellow man’s wellbeing. To be in your “dharma” as the Buddah says. To truly be who you are and not do the tasks that a boss or company tells you that you should be doing.

To have the peace of mind that multiple sources of income bring you- so if you lose your job or your spouse’s business goes under, you know you’ll be ok.

And most importantly To find the JOY of discovering what you were born to do.

I believe you really need to LOVE your work to add a true happiness to what you spend so many hours doing. Finding meaning in your life’s work is a passion of mine and it’s my purpose to help others do so.

And when you do, the money follows automatically.

That’s why I call myself “anima personified”.

Anima is a Jungian term meaning “to animate”- to bring life to- to push more life into. To inspire. To be animated means to feel your blood running, your excitement building, your love flowing, your joy, your purpose your passion.

To never wonder what you should do today at work. To get into an effortless flow of creative work.

I believe Passion counts.

Before I got involved with Network Marketing I was a broke, newly divorced single mommy of a little boy- struggling financially, emotionally and practically. I had just left my alchoholic husband.

And I left my life’s work.

I was the National coach for the South African Gymnastic team and together with my husband, we had built up the SA Gymnastic Team to be the best it had ever been in the International Arena.

We were a coaching team of note. I travelled all over the world, went to Youth Olympics, International Grand Prix, Commonwealth Games and World Championships in China.

I always loved the training and coaching- and specially the art of inspiring the gymnasts to get through their high training loads and thrive under competition pressure. Also helping them overcome FEAR of difficult movements and persisting long enough until they succeeded. To help them achieve incredible things with their talented bodies- and to help their minds allow them to do that.

After my husband and I split, I couldn’t face working with him. It was too painful. So I gave it all up and started my own business in recreational gymnastics.

In one fell swoop I lost my husband, father of my son, coaching partner, life’s work, status (National coach), income, home and I didn’t know who I was. I had no support from him (not because he’s a bad person, but because he was down and out and the house was put on auction- so the bank could repossess it).

I know how it feels to lose everything. To start from scratch and to really search to find that which is within you that allows you to carry on. And build up again- slowly.

I remember a moment standing at the shop, buying a rubbish bin for my rented apartment- I didn’t even have a bin to throw my rubbish in. I literally started from scratch. I didn’t even have a bed to sleep on (I slept on a camping mattress).

Bruised, I started Gym Wizards. (Even though I have an honours in Psychology, gymnastics was the only thing I really knew that I knew that I knew that I knew!)

I taught gymnastics at my son’s school (during PE) to pay his school fees. I built the business up until I was teaching 40 hrs a week of lessons.

I stuggled.

It was bad.

I went from traveling the world and competing against world class athletes in state of the art gymnasiums- to humbly moving chairs and tables, often cleaning floors at schools to be able to teach a lesson- with little or no equipment: only my resourcefulness and what I could give the children from my being.

Again, the theme that came through (and what) sustained me was the knowledge that I was inspiring children- this time to love themselves through the positive feedback and the development of a beautiful self image.

Kids from all walks of life- from kids with ADHD to low muscle tone, emotional problems as well as learning issues.

Kids from wealthy families whose parents didn’t give them the time of day. And even those who were so poor (here in the townships of South Africa) –(they literally live in shacks with no running water, electricity and sometimes no food).

We lifted them out of their environments and gave them a vision of their lives that was different. We gave them hope. Through play, love and a special coaching style I made breakthroughs with these kids that trained psychologists couldn’t get right.

The Gym Wizards era was a time of deep self reflection. Questions of meaning, purpose, relationships, work, children, love- all of these I grappled with. It was a 10 year sabbatical in the desert. I built the business up and employed staff and eventually a manager.

Things got better and I was no longer desperately struggling for survival.

When I got involved with Network Marketing, I saw it as a way to self actualize.

To once again, train and inspire people to reach their highest potential beings. This time it was in the arena of business.

I found that I love marketing. But there didn’t seem to be any training on marketing in the network marketing business!!!

“What makes me absolutely see RED is when network marketing companies and leaders sell a dream without giving people to proper tools and information and expectations to achieve it. “Just talk to everybody and tell your friends about the product” is so far removed from what it really takes to succeed in this industry- and it leads to false expectations and high failure rate- not to mention tons of people losing money and getting hurt.

Pitching people and reciting the opportunity over and over is what is taught and it makes me sick to my stomach at the thought of chasing people down.

Hounding them with tapes and one on one meetings. Being guilty if you don’t recruit the poor waiter at the restaurant. Prospecting for months and being told “just keep going and talk to more people and the money will come”.

I know, because that’s what I did when I started.

I felt very low class doing this and being rejected. Not to mention the money I lost driving around to people’s houses giving them demo’s of the product and showing “the plan”. Only to be told “I’ll think about it”.

I built up a complex about myself because I was rejected so many times. I had to FORCE myself to keep phoning people- until I couldn’t do it any more.

Living the dream life and Sipping from a coconut after a year or two’s work is simply not going to happen for 97% of us....

I quickly realized that Network marketing is a real business.

It takes skill and self image to succeed.

You have to be persistent and follow through and commit to consistency.

Even when life gets in the way.

The interesting thing is, once you can do this, you actually are the leader people want to follow. You have been there and done that.

It’s like the butterfly that has struggled long enough to emerge out of the cocoon- with wings strong enough to fly. Overcoming hurdles IS the necessary work that need to be done. Qualities of not giving up, faith, continual learning and strength become a part of your makeup- an aspect of being.

In this state, things start to change.

I am not into selling widgets to make quick money. Yes, I have learned marketing and sales- and as Robert Kiyosaki says “those are the most important skills you can learn here on Earth school”.

And I fully embrace that. That’s what I teach.

I now have my own house, another passive income investment, my gym business virtually on autopilot (staff taking care of the every day stuff), time and a stress free living lifestyle, my son is at a private school – and I can go and watch him play soccer and fetch him from school every day.

And my downline is growing, giving me additional sources of income.

Its not a dream life(yet). I am not a millionaire(yet).

But I have my sanity and passion for work back.

I can take a day and spend it at the beach with my son and puppy and know all is well.

Every day I have a choice about how I am going to spend my time.

I go to belly dancing classes if I want to. I take my family out for dinner without worrying about the bills.

That, for me is priceless.

Before this, I was a broke, scared single mommy fighting for survival. Mopping floors at gyms to teach kids forward rolls. I slept on the floor.

Now I am committed to teaching network marketers the real deal about marketing and self development and inspiring them to have a worry free existence.

You deserve to be at home with your kids, leave the job that traps you, earn additional income to relieve stress, develop into a leader to train others, be with people who love and celebrate working with you, have financial freedom and a lifestyle of beauty, grace and authenticity that constantly broadens your horizons (travel, people and creativity, joy, peace and giving those you love a life they deserve).

You deserve these things. You deserve a stress free life. Your family deserves them too. There’s no reason why you shouldn’t have these things. And no matter how low you are, you too can have them.

Just don’t be fooled into thinking it happens overnight and without studying what it takes to become a marketer and leader.

Here’s the bottom line..........

Everything you’ve been told about MLM- the potential for a lifestyle of freedom- it’s true.

But in times like these you have to stop following the average broke Networkers. Take the time to learn the real marketing and mindset skills it takes to keep you from going under and ending up like 97% do- in the MLM Casulaty Room.
